This thoroughbred approach and systematic design and development process – all set to international and the highest standards – is what has made Maxe the company it is today. Maxe produces and supplies a wide range of products to most South African vehicle manufacturers (Toyota; Ford/Mazda; GM; Nissan; VW; Hyundai; Kia; GWM; and various others).

All these products are best quality and passed and approved by the vehicle manufacturers engineering teams to support the high technical specification of the new vehicles to which Maxe products are fitted to. Maxe products thus match the manufacturers’ quality and enhance the vehicles’ original design integrity. Maxe boast a substantial R+D team of eight specialised engineering staff with LCV/SUV and truck bar specialists ensuring design focus and expertise.

The design and ‘birth’ of a bar out of Maxe is a complex and very focused process whereby a number of formal tests are undertaken to ensure best quality:

No compromise on Quality: Only the very best and top grade (Marine Grade 304) is used on all products.
Airbag compatibility testing done on brackets to ensure original design integrity is maintained (airbags deploy in exactly the way they have been designed – i.e. same with or without a bar on the vehicle)
Durability testing is undertaken to ensure that Maxe’s mounting brackets can endure the worst road conditions.
Side Impact testing ensures driver and passenger safety by deployment of side airbags as they are designed to.
Load testing: this confirms the durability of mounting brackets to be able to withstand the necessary vertical load Maxe stands head and shoulders apart from local competitors with regard to the quality and durability of their products. This is due to the immense effort and focus on Research and Development.
